We held a fundraising night for our Adult Cheerleading team at Bombay Lounge in Barrowford as part of a bid to raise over £3000 for new uniforms for the team. Family and friends of the girls and other customers of Sandersons joined us for what was a fantastic night of food, dancing and singing. Our singing teacher, Kristianne Robinson (Kiki De Ville) hosted the night and she was joined by her singers and Sandersons dancers who provided the entertainment for the night. The Cheerleaders performed a couple of their routines, Sophie Commons and Katie Smith and Georgia Aspinall and Lewis Frobisher did a Latin American Display and the brother and sister duo Max and Sammy Preston demonstrated House style HipHop.
The night was a great success and with the tickets sold and the raffle prizes which were donated we managed to raise almost £1300 to go towards the girl’s uniforms.
Thankyou to Jess for organising the night and also to everyone that supported it in any way. Massive thanks to Nurul at Bombay Lounge and his team for putting on such a great night and helping us raise that amount!
Also thanks to the following who have also donated money to the team;
Thanks to Nelson & Colne College for £1000
Footcare service for donating £250
Pendle Vale High School for donating £264
Rick Bynert for donating £250
With the support we have received from the above, the girls have now raised over £3000 to pay for their uniforms that they needed to dance at this level. We are looking forward to seeing photos of them at the next competition on the 23rd March at Blackpool Tower!
