COSTUME FITTINGS – SANDERSONS BLACKBURN
Instead of trying to squeeze all costume fittings on a Sunday like we have done previously, we are going to spread these out and slot them in over various Friday evenings either side of class. We will post in the group if we need any groups to arrive early or stay a bit later on any of the weeks.
DRESS REHEARSAL – SUNDAY 28TH APRIL 2024 (BLACKBURN STUDIO)
10.00-4.00pm (previously listed as 10-3pm)
This will be for all dancers including Ballet, Street & Acro Teams.
Dancers will need to bring packed lunch with plenty of snacks/drinks. We also suggest that they bring books/games to keep occupied whilst waiting for their turn.
STAGE REHEARSAL – SUNDAY 19TH MAY 2024 (WESTHOLME SCHOOL)
9.00-10.00am – Year 1 & 2 Showcase
10.00-11.00am – Year 3 & 4 Showcase
11.00-12.00noon – Year 5 & 6 Showcase
12.00-1.00pm – Street Teams
1.00-2.00pm – Acro Team
2.00-3.30pm – Saturday Latin Team
3.30-4.30pm – Ballet Showcase
4.30-5.30pm – Year 7 & 8 Showcase
5.30-6.30pm – Year 9 Upwards Showcase
6.30-7.30pm – Friday Latin Team
The sign in/out point for these rehearsals will be at the main entrance to the Croston Theatre (Westholme School). Dancers up to school year 11 will need to be accompanied by a parent/guardian to and from this point.
SHOW WEEKEND DROP OFF & COLLECTION TIMES
Primary School Age Children Drop Off – Saturday 5.30pm & Sunday 3.30pm
Secondary School Age Upwards Drop Off – Saturday 5.00pm & Sunday 3.00pm
The sign in point will be at the main entrance to the Croston Theatre (Westholme School).
The show normally lasts approx 3 hours including interval. The sign out/collection point will be inside the theatre. Dancers up to school year 11 will need to be collected by a parent/guardian from this point.
Please remember to send plenty of drinks & snacks. Younger children will benefit from having books/games etc to keep them occupied backstage.
SHOW PRODUCTION & SPECTATOR WRISTBAND SALE INFORMATION

These will be available to purchase via the Sandersons event booking calendar from Monday 8th April 10.00am.

Seating for the show will be un-reserved.
Public access to the theatre will be staggered so that those that purchased their spectator wristbands earliest get first choice of seats.
Level 1 Access Wristband – 45 mins before show starts – 100 bands available.
Level 2 Access Wristband – 30 mins before show starts – 100 bands available.
Level 3 Access Wristband – 15 mins before show starts – 100+ bands available.
Wristbands will be different colours to represent the staggered entry times.
We will be in touch closer to the event date with details on how to collect your spectator wristband order and a little bit more information about the event.
SHOW T SHIRTS
This year we are having a navy blue T-shirt with the show logo on the front and full cast list on the back.
Children’s sizes – 5-6yrs, 7-8yrs, 9-11yrs, 12-13yrs £19.00
Adult sizes – Small, Medium, Large, Extra Large £22.00

SHOW FILMING
The Sunday performance of our show production is going to be professionally filmed. This will be available to order as a download link that can be viewed on TV’s, computers, tablets etc.

This can be pre-ordered via our events booking calendar. Closing date for orders Sunday 16th June.
Please note that there will be only be a limited number of DVD copies available so please order early if you are looking to select this option.
Please note that it normally takes a few weeks to edit the footage so it won’t be available straight away.
BACKSTAGE HELPERS
As always, we very much depend on an army of volunteers to help backstage to look after the groups. To be eligible for this you must have an enhanced DBS certificate issued within the last 3 years (or on update service) and be able to able to attend the dress rehearsal as well as your chosen days backstage at the theatre. If you would like to be considered for this, please speak to Lucy. Please specify which show you would like to help with. We would really appreciate as much help as possible!
