COURSE COMMITMENT GUIDELINES

We are delighted to offer an extensive timetable of dance & fitness classes for all ages and abilities across our three centres.

Many of these classes are on a ‘pay as you go’ basis where participants can pick and choose which classes they attend and are able to opt in and out of taking part from one week to the next should they wish to do so.

We also have several classes that are offered on a COURSE basis only, where participants are required to book/pay their course fee no later than the first session of each calendar month.
In some cases, it is also a requirement that participants commit to booking for each calendar month on a continuous basis regardless of attendance. So, in those cases for example, it wouldn’t be permitted to attend January, February, miss March and then return in April.

We ask for this level of commitment so that participants are able to maximise their progress and development within their chosen classes alongside fellow participants that are equally committed to their training. By having advanced knowledge of which participants have committed to attend, it does also enable our teaching team to create more detailed lesson plans and therefore deliver productive sessions from one week to the next.

Below is a list of each of our sessions that are payable on a course basis and details of what level of commitment is expected from participants taking part in those sessions….

STREET & CHEERDANCE TEAMS
Participants of these sessions are expected to book/pay for each calendar month on a continuous basis (no opt-out of monthly courses permitted)

From 2024 onwards, some of our Acro classes will have a ‘pay as you go’ option for the summer holiday period. The cost per week will be slightly higher than when paying on course. More details on this will be given nearer the time.

MASTERCLASS
Participants of these sessions are expected to book/pay for each calendar month on a continuous basis (no opt-out of monthly courses permitted)
The July & August courses are normally combined to make a two-monthly course. Depending on teacher availability, this tends to either run throughout the holiday period with a 2-week discount offered for holidays OR the session is cancelled for a few weeks over the holiday period.

LATIN AMERICAN, BALLROOM & CLASSICAL SEQUENCE (CHILDREN’S)
Participants of these sessions are expected to book/pay for each calendar month on a continuous basis (no opt-out of monthly courses permitted)
The July & August courses are normally combined to make a two-monthly course and in most cases, two free weeks are given to allow for absence over the holiday period.

The July & August courses are normally combined to make a two-monthly course and in most cases, two free weeks are given to allow for absence over the holiday period.
Participants are also offered the flexibility to do a ‘swap’ to another class of a similar level to the one normally attended. For example, if weeks 3 & 4 of a course are going to be missed, they can double up and do 2 classes on weeks 1 & 2. We don’t require any notice for this – please just let your teacher know so that they can notify the teacher of the alternative class that you will be joining.

ADULT ADDITIONAL NEEDS CLASS
Whilst we encourage participants to attend continuous courses, there is flexibility to opt out of a monthly course should you need to do so.
