Inclusive Dance (LCC Break Times)
Our sessions provide a safe, welcoming, and fully inclusive environment where children and young people of all abilities can engage in dance and movement. Sessions are designed to support physical, emotional, and social development, helping children build confidence, resilience, coordination, and positive relationships. Delivered by experienced, safeguarding-trained staff, activities are carefully structured to ensure every child feels supported, valued, and able to participate at their own pace, in line with the aims and outcomes of the Break Time project.
Is it suitable for my child?
Our sessions are suitable for children and young people of all abilities and experience levels, including those with special educational needs. Activities are carefully adapted to meet each child’s individual needs, ensuring everyone can participate in a way that feels comfortable, positive, and fun. Parents and carers are encouraged to share any relevant information about their child’s needs, medical conditions, or additional support requirements in advance, so our trained staff can make appropriate adjustments and provide a safe, inclusive experience. For children who are eligible for LCC Break Time hours, we are pleased to offer these sessions at a reduced rate, making them accessible to all families.
What should my child wear?
There isn’t a set dress code for this class. We do however, recommend that participants wear something cool and comfortable with dance pumps/trainers.

Before starting the sessions, we invite parents and carers to have an informal chat with us so we can learn more about your child’s needs and how we can best support them.
