All Nations Competition Information

ALL NATIONS DANCE COMPETITIONS

These events are open to all our Latin, Ballroom and Classical dancers. There are many events across the year and they are open to all levels.

They are fun, family friendly, inclusive events that are a great way to showcase what the dancers have been learning in their classes and lessons with us at Sandersons.

In previous years, these styles have involved a high cost to enter creating a barrier to dancers getting involved. All Nations have made these styles more accessible by taking away the restriction of finding a partner (most events are solos only) and enforcing a restricted costume rule so that attire stays affordable for everyone to take part.

Choosing the best event- Our dancers are invited to enter any of the All Nations dates listed below. The bigger events are usually the Manchester & Blackpool events and the smaller ones are the Accrington, Liverpool & Durham dates.

Sunday 19th May-Accrington Town Hall

Saturday 22nd (evening) & Sunday 23rd June – QEH, Oldham

Sunday 29th September- KGH, Blackburn

Sunday 13TH October – Adelphi Hotel, Liverpool

Saturday 9th November- Accrington Town Hall (Saturday aft- evening)

Sunday 17th November- Newton Aycliffe Sports Centre, Durham

Sunday 1st December – Blackpool Wintergardens

All Nations Dance have a Facebook/Instagram page if you’d like to have a look at pictures/videos etc to see a little bit more about what to expect.

Clothing & Footwear- Please click here to see some detailed guidelines on what All Nations permit competitors to wear here-

You will notice that sequins & diamantés are not permitted at these events. Usually the skirt length for the Ballroom & Classical styles are longer than they are for Latin. Please note heel recommended size on the link too. There is a great range of practice wear online on various websites so please speak to your teacher if you need any help finding something suitable. We also have a great range of second hand pieces in our shop which are ideal for these events as well as a large selection of dance shoes. We recommend booking an appointment for a shoe fitting or dropping in before 12pm on Saturdays to see Mary.

Please see contact details below for Diane who can help with costume alterations for these subjects. Diane has been involved with these events for years so have a great understanding of what is suitable. Diane- 07954 053747

Private lessons- These are a great way of giving dancers a booster leading up to competitions. They can either be a weekly committed slot or just before an event. Please speak to any of our team if you would like to arrange this.
