Yoga is a group of physical, mental and spiritual practices that originated in ancient India. The word Yoga dervives from the Sanskrit word ‘Yuj’ which means to unite or bring together. We offer Hatha & Vinyasa/ Ashtanga styles of Yoga and have classes suitable for all levels. Our classes include Asana (poses/ postures), Pranayama (specific Yoga breathing techniques), Meditation (focus & concentration) & Relaxation (physical & emotional recovery).
Is it suitable for me?
This class is suitable for men & women of all ages and abilities. If you have any medical conditions that may be affected by this type of exercise, please check with your GP prior to starting the class. Should any particular movement in the class cause any discomfort, please make the instructor aware so that they can adapt your workout accordingly.
What should I wear?
Loose-fitting and comfortable clothing. Bare feet or socks.
Participants are required to bring their own mats. These are available to purchase from our shop if required.
